Hello, I'm Kate Dungan and this is my blog. My husband Erik is a photographer and co-owner of BIG Folio. We have four amazing children. Jessica is 14, Taylor is 4 and Jayne is three. The Lord has recently blessed us with a beautiful baby boy. Boston Elijah Dungan who is one! We live in beautiful Oregon. And we have an extremely fluffy black cat named Belle, and a spotted Bengal named Penny. The Lord has blessed us with so much!

I felt like Pixel wasn't ours until we got her a collar with our phone number on it. Pixel is officially part of our family :)
Taylor loves the kitten as much as the kitten loves her! I love how well Pixel fit into our family!
Pixel started her medication yesterday. Vet called and turns out pixel has Coccidia and Giardia. Both treatable with meds and already I can tell that Pixel is feeling better! Praise God!!
So yesterday was a day spent at the vet with our new kitten. She had really bad diarrhea and was pooping straight blood (sorry for overshare) I brought her into our vet and the first thing he said was, How old did they tell you she was?? And I said 8 weeks and he said, she is no older than five weeks, she should still be drinking from her mommy and has been weaned too early! He was pretty sure she had a bad case of worms but couldn't get enough out of her stool sample so I had to drop off another sample this morning. He also found a small heart murmur when he listened to her heart. He was almost postiive that it would heal on it's own but a chance it could effect her for the rest of her life. So basically she was just sick and malnourished. Basically the breeders are horrible and ripped us off. We could get our money back but then we would have to return kitten, and we are all attached to her so that is not happening. Plus the vet was pretty honest with me and told me that the kittens best chance of getting healthy is with me not them. If we returned her who knows what they would do to her. Erik is on phone with the breeder at this very moment so I will keep you guys updated on that and also with Pixel's progress. I know its lame to pray for animal but please lift up pixel in your prayers, we already love her so much and want her to have a fast recovery.
So this weekend Erik, I and all kids went to Portland to get our new kitten. We found a Bengal Breeder in Portland and decided to get another cat. Well basically I wore down Erik enough with my begging. We went to their house and I picked up one of the MANY kittens and she fell asleep in my arms and that was it, she was ours! After MUCH debate we settled on a name. Her name is Pixel. Erik wanted a computer name :) We brought her home and her and Belle are still hissing at each other but I know after time they will be best friends! I think its pretty obvious but I love her! She is the cutest thing ever! She slept on our pillows last night in between Erik and I. I have a ton more pics but I can't find my phone chord to plug into my computer so here are a couple pics I just took of her sleeping on the couch. I have an amazing husband for letting me get a second cat when he doesn't really like cats. He does like Pixel and Pixel likes him! She always climbs on him and he holds her, TOO CUTE! More pics to come soon! DUH! She will probably take up my blog for a while!
