Update
So we are officially moved out of our old house and are in our new house. What a hard two weeks! Whew! Thanks to Mike, Jeff, Kent, and Erik we got all our boxes and furniture moved into the new house. We couldn't have done it without them. Such a blessing. The project of moving seemed so big, that I couldn't even fathom how it was going to get done, but it did. So we are loving our new house. It's definitely different. I have never lived in a house with stairs before, and I not liking them so much. I am hoping after the baby is born the stairs won't be so defeating. I feel like the minute I walk downstairs I forgot something and I gotta go back up again lol. Also, I can't unpack the house all in one day (I wish I could) so everything is in boxes and I can't find anything that I am looking for. I have probably overdone it trying to get things unpacked, decorated and organized. Because I can't live in clutter, stresses me out LOL! So pray for me friends for more strength! So AG friends, we have the room so come visit!!!!
A week from this Tuesday my baby girl Jayne is turning two! I can't believe how fast she is growing up.. tear. We are having a big Finding Nemo party to celebrate. Its so nice that even though I don't have my family here there are still so many people we love surrounding us. We are so blessed. Both the girls are excited about a Nemo party, especially the Nemo cake we ordered.
Nicole is coming for the weekend and I am soo excited!!! She will be here for Jayne's Birthday!! :)
Also a prayer request. My sister Ashley is serving in Iraq till next February and please pray daily for her safety. A girl from Bend was in her unit and was killed last week. It really scares me.
Thanks! That's all I got for now! I miss you AG PEEPS!
Thank you Nicole and Lawren for an amazing shower. And Jane and Rachel for the great pictures. Here are some of the pics for those of you who couldn't make it.
OH MY GOSH! NKOTB REUNION. I have never been so excited! Their new song Summertime is great! Here is a blast from the past!
American Idol Chat..
Okay so last night American Idol was pretty great. I thought they all did so good! I have always liked Syesha, she has been my favorite girl. I thought she did great last night even though the judges disagree. Although, she doesn't have a chance of beating either one of the David's. So my prediction is that she goes home tonight. :( Sad but I think she will be a big Broadway star. So last night my favorite was actually David Cook. I loved that he sang Switchfoot. So as of now, my vote goes to David Cook. I am so over David Archuleta it's not even funny.. What do you guys think?????
Ashley,
I hope you are having a great Birthday despite the fact that you are in Iraq and that we can't be with you to celebrate it. I miss and love you so much! Have a great day ok????
So.. after months of searching house after house after house, we finally found the perfect house for us. The house that we were going to originally rent didn't end up working out because we couldn't move in till 1 or 2 weeks before Boston's arrival, and it was just too much to take on. This house is in an amazing neighborhood with families all around. It is a two story house with 3 bedrooms, a big playroom an office, 2.5 bathrooms, a huge kitchen, and a front porch to hang out on. There were four things that we were looking for in a house. #1. A big backyard. #2. A cool big kitchen. #3. A big bathtub for me. #4. Enough bedrooms to accommodate our kids. And every house we looked at was missing one, two or all of these things. But this house has them all. I was so excited when we looked at it. Erik and I both knew it was the house for us. We are going to make the big playroom into a big nursery for Boston! So the only downside was that this house was wanted to we had to pay rent and move in right away so we did. We actually have two houses right now. But its nice that we can take our time moving things over. Here are some pics for you nicole so you can see!!!
Today for lunchtime, Erik packed a great picnic and we headed of to Shevlin park to walk some trails and eat. We had a great time. We are loving this weather too!
It's the cutest thing ever! She is in love with Adam Akins, Kent's oldest. They came over for dinner and Tay would not leave his side.. adorable!! She kept holding his hand and telling him to pick her up. Thanks Akins for a super fun night!!
