Since tomorrow I will be traveling home and probably won't blog, I will blog about music today. So I am not sure if any of you have noticed but there seems to be a rise of Duets with Rappers and R & B singers. If any of you watched the Grammy's then you would have noticed. Lil Wayne and Robin Thicke, T.I and Justin Timberlake, T.I and Rihanna, Kanye West and Cold Play's Chris Martin. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!!

Boy has a child at 13

My friend Jeff Caston introduced me to the The Fray years ago and I was hooked instantly. I just LOVE their music! I have been axiously awaiting for a new album to come out, and it's finally here! One thing that I have always wondered about them, is why they are on Christian radio stations all over the world? Are they Christians? Is their music about God? Well, I did some research and found a great interview with The Fray for Christian Music Today. And it was pretty interesting. The band members' lives were largely formed in Denver churches where they helped lead worship, and in the Christian school three of them attended. Slade, 24, and guitarist Joe King, 25, were several years ahead of drummer Ben Wysocki, 21, at Faith Christian Academy. Wysocki and guitarist David Welsh, 21, played in the same worship band. Awesome! You should read the interview! Their new album The Fray is great. I was going to pick a couple of their songs that I think are the best, but really I can't. They are all that great! "You found me" Is my favorite. Their whole album is on itunes.

So sorry, yesterday we got our new car and the day was eventful, so its no wonder I forgot about music tuesday, so this week its music Wednesday.

This last week, a group of us girls went to see the movie "New In Town" Starring Renee Zellweger. Movie was great, I thought. But the music was also great in it! The soundtrack just came out and it's very country but I like it! The best songs on the soundtrack are: "Another Country, by Tift Merritt and "Life is Good" by Brittini Black, and "Race You, by Elizabeth & the Catapult. Definitely different but good stuff.
