So.. The girls and I are flying home again tomorrow afternoon. I just couldn't stay away! So yippeeee lets hang out my 805 friends.. I will be here till monday morning!
Saturday I had a rough day but it got better as the day went on thanks to great friends and a great husband, and my sista of course!
Well, Erik was at the new kitchen store in The Old Mill and bought a pot sticker tool. (If thats what it's called). Erik and I had a blast making pot stickers from scratch. The outside is just flour and water. We cooked chicken breast and Erik grounded them up in the chopper with some cabbage and sauces for the inside. Then we used our device to squish them together. They turned out great! We made some for our soup and some we fried. Yummy Yum! And many of you would be shocked to know that I Kate Dungan did most of the work! ME! I know right?? And the girls loved them and ate em up!
Then we made homemade Popsicles with a new Popsicle maker from the kitchen store. We made them with sugar free lemonade and strawberries and blue berries. They were amazing! I ate three!
The kitchen store has SO many gadgets that I didn't even know existed. So fun. Last night Erik made home made ravioli for Mike and I. Turned out great!
Anyway we ended the night with renting a movie on our, On Demand. Erik let me pick this time. Yea! Well I picked "No Reservations" With Catherine Zeta Jones. What can I say about this movie? IT WAS GREAT! I love love love romantic comedies. But this one was really one of the top best. But also know, it was the saddest movie too. I cried through the entire movie! It was almost like P.S I love you. Gena my friend, you would LOVE this movie!
Then I ended the night laughing with Nicole on the phone till 1:00am. We hadn't talked all day! And had a lot to catch up on.
Why is this so funny to me? Seriously makes me laugh everytime..
Nicole showed me this.. Its so funny! He sounds just like both of them!!
So..
Due to the controversy with my L.A Ink blog post and the unnecessary comments I have decided to delete the whole post. I love tattoos as many of you do too, and will keep blogging about the things I love and my goal to get tattooed by Hannah Aitchison (http://www.hannahaitchison.com) I would prefer people to keep their negative comments to themselves. We aren't all the same and love different things. Thanks for your support!!
And thanks for reading my blog :)
So this week has been crazy! Erik has been out of town since Friday and Taylor has been really sick. She has been throwing up, high fevers, cold/cough, stuffy nose.. I took her to the doctor's yesterday and he dubbed it a virus that they could do nothing for. I have spent day and night for 4 days doing nothing but helping Taylor. Last night she had a fever so high I spent the night checking her every hour. Needless to say, I needed to get out of the house!! I called our housekeeper/nanny and she agreed to watch them for me Monday night, so I called my girl Gena and asked her out for a girl date night! LOL! What a great great night! We started the night by going to deep. A super nice sushi restaurant here in bend. We got cucumber sushi, edamame, tempura and their famous river rock! Was great just to sit and relax and talk about what is going on in each others lives.. We were running late for our movie and got the bill paid it and ran for the car.. two funny things.. on the way to the car a car full of guys honked and whistled at us!! LOL!! Was SO funny! Gena and I were saying how that hasn't happened in years! Was a great boost tho LOL! Then once we got in the car we both realized that we were BOTH starving still!! LOL! I don't think we ordered enough food!! So we made it to the movies and ordered a bunch of candy and a container of dibs (ice cream bites) that had 26 pieces per carton! We ate them all! We saw Definitely, Maybe. Probably one of the cutest movies ever made. I LOVED it! We loved it! It's a must see! So thanks Gena for a great night out. I love my movie partner! Erik is coming home today. I couldn't be happier! And this morning Taylor's fever broke and she seems a bit better.
As you can see, this is why I leave the photography up to my husband. I could not get them to both look at the camera at the same time :)
What a great trip! We took Taylor to Disneyland for the first time and it was everything we hoped it would be. We stood in a long line for Taylor to meet her princesses. She was so happy it brought us all to tears~ My favorite pic is the one of Taylor hugging Belle. She saw Belle and ran straight for her and Belle bent down and Taylor ran straight into her arms. Her expression is priceless.. Here are a group of my favorite pics of our trip! Enjoy!
