I thought I would blog again because I miss it and because I want to write down my intense T.E.A.M training that I started this week.
T.E.A.M: Training, Empowerment, Accountablity, Motivation.
Program includes:
1. 12 personal training sessions with trainer.
2. 3 lifestyle fitness coaching meetings.
3. 16 Food coaching and nutritional guidance meetings.
4. 4 T.E.A.M workouts
5. 3 Spinyasa (spin and yoga) workouts
6. Consistent motivational emails communication
7. Required group fitness obligations
8. Cardio training (high inensity interval training)
9. Hydro massage therapy.
I met with my nutritionist Sandy and LOVE her. She tested my fat percentage, weighed me, measured me and put together two weeks of meal plans, gave me vitamis and supplements. I love that she tells me what to eat, how much to eat and what time to eat. The hardest part of getting healthy for me at least is trying to figure out what to eat, and how much. This program is literally telling me down to the T what to do. There is no guessing. I LOVE it.
I actually LOVE the food she put me on. She was telling me okay kate, no red meat, lunch meat, mayonnaise, and butter. Hilarious because I don't like any of those things and told her so, and she said, wow you are making my job easy. I eat lots of fruit, eggs, veggies at certain times in certain portions. I meet with her twice a week to turn in my food journal and to get weighed, talk about accountability! I honestly loathe food journals, soo time consuming but I know they work. I have to write down every single thing I eat and drink and not cheat! And I have to drink more water and for those who know me well know i don't like water.. She took before pics and I can't wait to see the after pics!
Goals! Okay so my goal for this program which is 8 weeks long is to loose 20-25 pounds. In a nutshell I have to eat 1,500 calories a day and burn 1,000 of those calories so my body is only taking in 500 calories a day.. which equals about 2 hours per day of working out.
Working out. I meet with my trainer Joy whom I have had before and LOVE twice a week. Monday and Wednesdays mornings at 10. I have to have 3 weight training sessions per week so for one day of the week I am on my own for weight training, so I will do Body Pump on Fridays. I have to have 7 days of 1 hour cardio and then once a week I have to do a yoga class. So every monday wednesday and friday I will be spinning and then weight training right after..eek scary. Then on Tuesdays and thursdays I will be doing a yoga class with a cardio class like kick boxing, squash or step class. I have to work out two hours a day for the next 8 weeks. I know it will be worth the results but I am scared. I told erik I have put everyone above me for the last five years, Its my turn to finally loose this baby weight and get my life and body back! Ohhh also in a month I have to run a 5k! And I do NOT like running! I am super nervous about it..
The trainers said to think of the number one reason why you want to loose weight and to keep that image in your head. I know this is going to sound totally vain why the most important reason is why I want to loose this weight and its simply clothes. I love to shop (thanks meg :) and I LOVE clothes and fashion. I shop a lot and have a wardrobe full of some really cute stuff and I put on an amazing outfit and know that its cute but still feel like, gosh im so fat and I would look so much better in this thin! I have these jeans and this shirt that I have had forever that I want to wear, badly. I will take a pic and post and I want to be able to wear them both after this 8 week program!
So I will continue to blog about what ive have done for the week and my progress! I will blog when I lose weight and how much and take some before and after pics! Anyone that would love to run with me and workout with me I would love it!
MY starting weight as of yesterday: 173 pounds (eek I know)
My goal after the program: To weigh 147-153 pounds
My ultimate goal: To weigh 130-135 pounds which is what I weighed before having three babies.
